Your data, your call
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
- Open Nestosai and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm with your password (or biometric prompt) when asked.
Your account is queued for deletion immediately and is fully removed within 30 days, subject to the retention notes below.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, you can request deletion by email:
- Send an email to delete@nestosai.com from the email address on your Nestosai account.
- Use the subject line: Delete my Nestosai account.
- We may ask one or two questions to verify it's really you (this protects you against someone else asking for your data to be deleted).
- We confirm by email when your data has been deleted, typically within 30 days.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You don't have to delete your whole account to clear specific data. From inside Nestosai you can:
- Delete an individual conversation from Chat → long-press a conversation → Delete.
- Remove a family member from your Nest in Settings → Members, which clears that member's entries from your view.
- Clear what the AI remembers about you in Settings → Privacy → Reset AI memory.
- Remove uploaded photos and voice notes by deleting the message that contains them.
If you'd like us to delete a specific category of data on your behalf (for example, all voice recordings, or all data from a given date range), email privacy@nestosai.com from the address on your account, describe what you want removed, and we'll confirm by email when it's done — typically within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, photo, language, optional gender, date of birth).
- Your private conversations with the AI (text, voice, photos you sent, transcripts).
- Your self-assessments and personalization signals (attachment, love language, personality, culture).
- Your action items, reflections, and personal insights.
- Your push tokens and device records.
- Your membership in any household ("Nest").
What may be retained, and why

Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription that was billed by Apple or Google. Cancel from your store account first to avoid future charges:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Android: open the Play Store, tap your avatar, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Children
A parent or legal guardian can request deletion of a minor's account at any time by emailing privacy@nestosai.com with proof of the relationship. See Children's Privacy.
