Children's Privacy

Nestosai is designed for families. Children, teens, and adults can use it — with different protections at different ages. This page explains who can sign up, when a parent or guardian must give consent, and what parents and guardians can do at any time.

Minimum age

• You must be at least 6 years old to create a Nestosai account.
• If you are under 13 (or under 16 in the EU / EEA), a parent or legal guardian must confirm consent before the account becomes active. We collect their email address during sign-up and send them a one-time consent link.
• In jurisdictions whose data-protection law sets a higher digital-consent age than 13, that local law applies.

How parental consent works

1. The child enters their date of birth, country, and a parent's email address at sign-up.
2. We send the parent a one-time link from no-reply@nestosai.com.
3. The parent opens the link, lands on our consent page, and clicks "I confirm consent".
4. The account is then activated. Until that click happens, the child cannot sign in or use the AI features.

We comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU's GDPR-K rules. Parents can revoke consent and ask us to delete the account at any time.

Parental rights

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe your child has created an account or provided personal data to Nestosai, you can:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about your child.
• Request deletion of your child's account and data.
• Ask us to stop further collection or processing.

To exercise these rights, contact privacy@nestosai.com from an email address we can use to verify your relationship with the child. We may ask for additional information to confirm your identity before we act, in order to protect the child's data.

How minors' data is handled

• A minor's private conversations are never exposed to other family members' AI sessions.
• We do not use minors' personal data to train AI models.
• We do not run targeted or behavioral advertising in Nestosai.
• Sensitive AI features (e.g. open voice sessions) may be limited or disabled on minor accounts.
• The AI runs in a hardened "child mode" for ages 6–12 and "minor mode" for ages 13–17: stricter content filters, simpler vocabulary, and a hard rule to redirect crisis topics to a trusted adult and a regional helpline instead of attempting to handle them.
• A minor's account and all derived data (chats, memory facts, files) are deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request from the minor or the consenting parent.
